The Barn is the perfect escape for a rest and recuperation, enjoying an unrivalled position in the idyllic village of Bainbridge, just 4 miles from Hawes in the heart of Wensleydale, in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Over recent years The Barn, formally a derelict Cow shed, has been totally refurbished by owners Dave and Charlotte into a stunning holiday home for two, with an inviting private terrace, large hot tub and also welcoming dogs.
The Barn can accommodate 4 adults with a sofa bed as the additional sleeping area. It also welcomes ‘Babies in Arms’ with a Cot available upon request.
The Barn forms part of the beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant Yorebridge House, which lies just 5 minutes away. Guests are welcome to book Breakfast, Dinner, Afternoon Tea or a light lunch direct with Yorebridge House whilst staying at The Barn, to enjoy the award-winning cuisine produced by Head Chef Dan Shotton and his team.

THE SPACE
The picture-perfect Barn oozes charm and character. It is a true delight from the minute you arrive, as you take in the stunning views across the village green, you know that this is going to be something very special!
Positioned over two floors, entering the spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen, you immediately feel at home. The living space is well thought out and beautifully appointed with luxurious furnishings and traditional features. The stylish well-equipped kitchen has everything needed to rustle up a hearty Yorkshire breakfast, whilst planning your day ahead. A 50-inch 3D LED TV takes centre stage around the cosy sofas, making for a relaxed space to unwind on an evening with a glass or two!
There is also a WC located on the ground floor.
The sofa bed is positioned in the lounge and ideal for an extra 2 guests.
Meander up the beautiful staircase to find an amazing open plan bedroom with exposed beams and a warm and relaxed colour pallet. The huge king bed takes centre stage, adorned with the comfiest pillows and softest duvet – guaranteeing you the best nights sleep! A 42” TV and plenty of storage is also available within the relaxing space.
The open plan luxury bathroom leads from the bedroom area with a double tsunami shower, a free-standing roll top bath and twin sink unit. There is a separate WC.
The Barn also has its own private terrace and large hot tub outside.
THE LOCAL AREA
Bainbridge is a beautiful village in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the River Bain with its spectacular waterfalls runs through the village and is a sight to behold. Walking and cycling routes lead out across the Dales with so much to explore in this picture postcard part of Yorkshire. The village is most welcoming, with pubs, a few cafes and shops for essentials, there is a little petrol station here too. The award winning Yorebridge House Hotel and Restaurant lies just outside this beautiful village.
The Yorkshire Dales is best known for its stunning scenery and great natural attractions such as Malham Cove and Aysgarth Falls. But there is so much more to discover!! Spectacular waterfalls and ancient woodlands contrast with the scattered remains of rural industries. Together, nature and people created a special landscape of immense beauty and character – one of the most picturesque places in the country.

The Barn is a quaint little paradise. Ideal for 2 people. The kitchen has everything you need and the decor and bedroom is to such a high standard. The hot tub is perfect. Luxury!

Only a short stroll to the hotel. The Barn is exactly as you see in the photos and video, in fact much better in real life. The highlight was the hot tub in a totally private patio"
