The cottage is perfect for a family with a little dog. Very comfortable and modern but with a cottage style. Parking - parked outside on the road easily which was perfect as we had a roof box Locations - Excellent, with a restaurant and café close by. We were there for the Ampleforth cricket tournament so ideal. Kitchen area - large and light and had everything we needed for our stay. The dog felt at home here. Bedrooms - all with bathrooms which worked well and had hot water constantly (some places don't). Towels provided. Good communication. Would recommend and return next year!

The property was an absolute delight and perfect for the four adults and small dog that formed the party. The area was lovely and peaceful - with Ampleforth Abbey within east walking distance, and other Yorkshire attractions all within reach with a car. Overall, I would definitely recommend the area, property and company for their service. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise.

Great place, excellently equipped with Nespresso machine and smart tv’s along with all the usual essentials. Lovely village and excellent local pub about 20 steps away - they even did us a takeaway when we hadn’t made a booking. Great private garden for the dogs. Excellent communication throughout from Lisa and Matt at North Yorkshire Cottage Holidays, with lots of nice touches from their company - welcome hamper, clear instructions and info etc. Would strongly recommend.

This was such a lovely stay for us — the cottage was kept at a very high standard and just so cosy and sweet. The garden was just perfect for my daughter's Easter egg hunt and the area is just so relaxing. The managers of the property were so quick to respond and so accommodating and even left us treats, milk and flowers as a welcome. Honestly, just the best little getaway. We will definitely return!
