Reviews
Stayed: October 2024
We have just spent 2 nights in the Gowland Studio room on a short trip to the north Yorkshire Moors and would highly recommend staying here. Jan and Duncan are extremely friendly and welcoming hosts making you feel right at home from the get go. The location is perfect, beautifully quiet surrounded by farmland that affords a lovely start to the day with some great walks from the accommodation itself. The moors are just a short drive away as is the town of Pickering (10 mins) that has everything you need. Gowland studio itself was beautifully clean, lovely and warm and just right for tired legs at the end of the day. We would definitely recommend for a quiet get away.
