All our properties are open and we are taking bookings for short breaks away and longer stays. We look forward to welcoming you for your holidays and showing you the hidden gems of North Yorkshire!
NYCH making your stay in North Yorkshire safe-
Here at NYCH we would like to assure you that we want to ensure the safety of you and all of your party throughout your stay. All of our properties are scrupulously deep cleaned following a full COVID enhanced cleaning schedule. We also offer all properties contact-free entry into your holiday property with out the need to meet the owner or an agent to collect the keys. For more information on how we are working to keep you safe on your holiday please do contact us direct.
You must not travel to one of our properties if you or any of your party have symptoms of Covid 19.
Booking your break in 2022 and beyond:
We want you to be able to plan and look forward to your holiday. North Yorkshire has so many hidden gems with so many beautiful places to visit, so many lovely people to meet and so many local businesses to support when you visit North Yorkshire.
What happens if I have booked a holiday but I am unable to travel due to travel restriction laws imposed by the Government?
Here at NYCH we fully understand the uncertainty lockdown rules have and could pose when making travel plans. That is why here at NYCH we want you to be able to book with confidence knowing that you can change your booking to new dates or cancel your booking and receive a refund (less booking fee of £50) in the following situations:
- The property you have booked needs to close and cannot accommodate your booking due to Government restrictions on travel and tourism during the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
- Government rules stipulate that you must not travel out of your area of residence at the time of the holiday start date. We will need to see proof of your home address by way of a recent utility statement in the booking name.

What happens if I, a member of my party or someone I am connected to tests positive for Covid 19 and has to isolate or has been told to isolate due to close contact with an infected person?
Where you or any member of your party tests positive for Covid 19 and must isolate or is told or advised to self isolate due to Covid 19, our standard cancellation policy will apply (you can find this in our terms and conditions). https://northyorkshirecottageholidays.com/booking-terms-conditions/
We advise all guests to take out independent travel insurance which also covers your trip as well as this scenario as it is a known risk at the time of booking.

What to do if I or someone in my party develops symptoms of Covid-19 whilst on holiday?

You can contact us on 07796 040606 / 07547 113976 and also the contact details for the owner of the property can be found in the property welcome folder. Please ensure you inform you if this unfortunate situation occurs whilst staying in one of our properties.
