What a gorgeous farmhouse, we've had a fab bank holiday weekend!! The location is so lovely and peaceful and the hot tub is a welcome stress reliver.

Had a lovely family holiday celebrating Grahams 70th. Great house and vies - we enjoyed the garden and hot tub a lot. The kitchen was a lovely warm place for the family to eat and play games.

We would definitely recommend this venue. Fabulous accommodation and stunning scenery. We had a lovely family holiday. The little unexpected extras like the board games and outside toys came in very useful. We also appreciated having the BBQ to use so we could eat outside.

We've had a lovely golden wedding stay with our family and everyone has enjoyed the house and facilities and views. Thank you Racheal and Matthew for the treats and hospitality.

Very peaceful position and comfortable. Handy for Scarborough and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Pub in the village was very welcoming and great food.

Some of us were here 17.8.24 and we came back! Lovely house and garden. We've enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views. We've also seen some hares, lambs and even a badger! Would definitely recommend stating here. Go on the North Yorkshire steam train if you get chance. The Grapes at the end of the track offers great food!

Staying at this Farmhouse over Christmas was simply magical. The XMAS tree being provided was a wonderful touch. Open fire, hot tub, starry nights, beautiful wolds. We had a terrific family Christmas and one we will all remember because of this gorgeous farmhouse.

Thank you for such an amazing time. The house and surrounding areas were lovely and peaceful. We ahve created many great memories on this trip! There is lots to do and see - we enjoyed seeing the sheep in the morning.

This was possibly the best accommodation we have had through Air Bnb, and we have used quite a few over the years. Rachael is a very friendly and responsive host and keen to help and advise. All the rooms were perfectly arranged and everything you can think of is provided. We had a toddler with us but she had loads of toys provided. Great for the grown-ups too. The garden is enclosed and dog friendly. The scenery is lovely and there are many attractions within easy reach. There are also plenty of walks in the area.

A beautiful farmhouse, very spacious and well equipped. Very comfortable furnishings in keeping with age of house. Lots of extras, such as toys for the children, dog leads etc, plenty of basics and tasty hamper. Views from the house of surrounding countryside were breath taking.

The house is absolutely beautiful, a quiet, relaxing and stunning location with amazing views. Inside was lovely too, cosy but spacious, the kitchen in particular is such a great space. The host was so friendly and helpful and they were so many nice extra touches in the house, like fresh milk, homemade biscuits and croissants for breakfast. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay.

We spent a lovely New Years weekend at High Park Farm. The house is perfect for groups with plenty of space and well equipped. Gorgeous views with various walks nearby. Communication is excellent and there was a lovely welcome hamper when we arrived, thank you for a great stay!

Great place for a relaxing family holiday. Perfect if you have little ones as cot and high chair provided plus lots of toys for rainy days to keep them entertained. Big kitchen with eat in dining table for 8 -10. 4 bedrooms all on upper level. 1 bath and 1 shower.

My family and I were looking for the perfect place to meet up and spend Christmas together…and we found it! It was everything we had hoped for. This is such a beautiful place! We came here for Andy's 40th and he loved every moment. The beds are really comfortable and the bath is nice and big. It was lovely to sleep in the quiet with the occasional Tawney Owl., the sheep were cute too! What a beautifully presented farmhouse. Stunning views in a very private quiet location. Perfect to unwind. The accommodation was immaculate. Beds very comfy everything you’d need for a vacation. Welcome hamper on arrival was exceptional a very appreciated touch. We were a family group staying. toddler and dogs had great time in the secure large garden as did the adults sitting at the picnic table enjoying the glorious weather. We would definitely recommend this place and will most certainly be back.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings and perfect house for our family, including our three grandchildren. We were lucky enough to be there in lambing season so they got to see the new lambs. Very thoughtful hosts who left homemade cookies in the welcome basket. Would highly recommend.

This cottage is a hidden gem! Beautiful, private location and safe, secure enclosed garden perfect for the kids and dog. Beautiful farmhouse cottage - charming, warm and cosy, soft plush bedding and towels. The cottage was so well equipped with everything you can think of and the dog room was amazing complete with memory foam dog bed. We were left alone to enjoy our holiday but knew Rachael was there should we need her. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back! We stayed here as a friendship group and it was the perfect base. There were weather warnings for heavy snow, but North Yorkshire Holiday Cottages were really proactive in letting us know the situation at the house and providing us with contact details for the owner in case we needed anything. The house has a lot of character and the outbuildings and garden really add to it. It’s a lot more remote than we thought it would be, but that just added to it. We went out and looked at the stars on our first night as there was little to no light pollution. We were worried it might be cold with the weather being so bad, but the owners had the heating on for when we got there and the AGA in the kitchen kept us all toasty. The beds were really comfy, even the bunk beds! And the price was fantastic! Definitely worth stopping here. We felt like we had our own private slice of the countryside.

The perfect, cosy getaway. This beautiful cottage is well equipped, really nicely decorated (including Christmas décor), comfortable and a great size for a larger family. It has everything you need. We were welcomed by breakfast in the freezer and a very generous hamper which made the super easy check in even better! Host was very kind and easy to communicate with. The surroundings are stunning and the outside area is great for small children and excellent for dogs. We had a fabulous Christmas. We would love to return one day.

Communication and check-in were excellent. Welcome basket with Cereal, Prosecco, biscuits, H Chocolate, bread, plus fresh bacon in the fridge a generous and thoughtful touch. Beautiful setting, 4 nights not enough, so serene and restful. Eight of us stayed without feeling cramped at all. The house is so homely and warm, with high quality beds, well equipped kitchen as well as excellent provision for dogs, and ample secure bike storage. Kids can let of steam with all the space available outside, and in a safe environment, as it’s about 500 metres from any road. There’s a huge barn that kids can play in, but it’s made clear that it’s at your own risk. Our kids used the games in there without any problems. World Class Dalby Forest Bike Park is a couple of miles cycle up the lane and suits all abilities. Plenty of footpaths lead from the house straight out into the countryside as well. Ordnance Survey map recommended to have handy. I’d definitely book again if I could get a look in!

The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into providing everything to make this a home away from home. This included a welcome basket including fizz and locally produced cookies as well as practical items such as bread milk and bacon.

This was the find of the century! Most of us had come up from London to stay with friends at a venue that had been the subject of an arson attack. At 5pm I scoured Airbnb and found this beautiful cottage. I messaged the owners, hoping a) it was available and b) they'd be online ready to take the booking - they did!! We exited the restaurant where we had taken sanctuary, drove up the road and found the cottage, lit, warm, some welcome gifts and a fire ready to be lit! It's a wonderful venue, middle of nowhere - to stand in the garden with the dogs and hear absolute silence, was golden! Everything is new, clean, comfy and that perfect get away to the country with nothing around other than sheep, fields and more fields! Absolute bliss. Four well-appointed bedrooms, beautiful lounge with open fire and huge kitchen!! We will be back

Just WOW!! We booked a short break away with our extended family and we were blown away. The views from the property as just as described 'break taking' and the property itself has been newly renovated to an extremely high standard. There is plenty of space for 8 guests with a wonderful farmhouse kitchen and spacious cosy lounge with a magnificent open fire. Our 2 doggies also had the best stay with their very own high end 'Doggy Room' Will be back!
