Jenny’s Barn is a beautifully modern eco retreat, ideally situated to offer breath-taking views across the fields toward The White Horse at Kilburn. Located just a few miles from the historic City of Ripon and easily accessible to Harrogate, it is peacefully nestled along a country lane on the edge of the picturesque North Yorkshire village of Staveley.

Recently renovated to an exceptional standard, the barn features a soft colour palette throughout, underfloor heating, and sliding glass doors that seamlessly connect the indoors with the outdoors. Luxurious beds ensure a restful night’s sleep. The exterior boasts a charming, private garden and ample off-street parking, all surrounded by the rolling Yorkshire countryside—making it an idyllic destination.

Accommodating up to nine guests across five spacious deluxe bedrooms, including two on the ground floor, the property also offers three bathrooms and a cosy open-plan living and dining kitchen area, perfect for gathering and sharing the day’s adventures. Tv’s are in each bedroom with full Sky TV package.

Dogs are warmly welcomed to join you during your stay.

NB: A sofa bed within the master bedroom can accommodate an additional child – please enquire at booking.

THE SPACE

Upon arriving at Jenny’s Barn, one is immediately captivated by its impressive charm. The entrance welcomes you with modern yet elegant interiors. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is thoughtfully designed for social gatherings, featuring comfortable sofas, a spacious dining table, and a fully equipped modern kitchen, ideal for any aspiring chef to create a delightful Yorkshire feast. Additionally, there is a convenient utility room with washing facilities.

From the kitchen, you will find two ground-floor bedrooms: one accommodating two guests and another single room, complemented by a family bathroom that includes a shower over the bath, a basin, and a WC.

On the first floor, three generously sized and carefully arranged bedrooms await. The master suite boasts its own private balcony, offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside—an idyllic spot for savouring that essential morning coffee. There is also another king bedroom with a separate dressing room and a king room featuring ensuite facilities. A family bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the upper level.

Outside, a spacious garden and beautifully positioned patio with outdoor furniture create an inviting communal space for enjoying warm summer evenings. Ample parking is available at the side and front of the property, which benefits from gated private access.

A charming village in North Yorkshire, Staveley is known for its picturesque countryside and tranquil rural setting. Surrounded by rolling fields and scenic walking trails, the village is a haven for nature lovers, dog walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, with the nearby Staveley Nature Reserve a particular highlight, offering a diverse range of wildlife, ponds and well-maintained footpaths.

The village is also well-connected thanks to several transport links, with nearby towns and villages easily accessible by bus. It offers easy access to the A1(M), allowing for straightforward travel to other parts of the country, while Knaresborough train station is located just over 10 minutes away, providing a convenient link to York and Leeds train stations, which both boast regular connections to major destinations across the UK.
