We had a wonderful stay at The Pines in Runswick Bay. With 4 adults and 4 children plus a dog I was worried it may be cramped but it absolutely was perfect. Super spacious and in such a great location. The lodge itself is decorated beautifully and you feel at home instantly. Location wise you are within minutes of beautiful views and walks, additionally beside a lovely pub/restaurant. Would definitely recommend & will return!

We came here for the weekend and what a lovely time we had! The place is huge, we had 4 adults 3 children and a dog and we had plenty of space! The beds were clean and comfy and so much storage for all our things. Runswick bay is only a 2 minute drive or about a 15 minute walk, the hill is very steep down to the beach so would recommend driving. There’s so much to do surrounding the site, it’s very private and such a lovely quiet place. We would 100% return again🩷

To confirm we had an excellent break at kittiwake lodge. From arrival info to departure was a smooth process and our cul de sac area was lovely and quiet. The other occupants on site were very pleasant. The lodge itself was very well appointed everything one would need was on hand. The welcome pack was a nice touch. The lodge was very clean, comfortable warm with good quality beds and bedding/towels. We don't have any negative issues.

We had a wonderful stay. Communication for our arrival was timely, check in was easy. The chalet is stunning and there was plenty of room for us all (5 adults and 3 children). We had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Location was perfect as it was close to the beach but also a great base to drive to other areas. The little welcome bag of local goodies was such a thoughtful touch also. We couldn’t recommend enough! Thank you

So happy we found this place. Right by Runswick Bay which is an unbelievably beautiful and not too busy beach and short car journey from Whitby and the Moors. The chalet itself was super clean and actually more spacious than the pics appeared. Perfect for kids as it’s in a fenced-in area with 15 or so other chalets so our kids instantly made friends and they could all play safely. But we’d definitely return!
